The Sixth Sun
The Toltec are the sister people of the Aztec, nearly equal in stature. It is said that they had only a single flaw- that they did not know Itzpapalotl was the sun. Instead they worshiped Quetzalcoatl. When the gods learned this, they came to the Toltec and warned them of their error. The Toltec were gladly conquered, for they had long admired the Aztec.
The Toltec are a kindly people, and it is said when the Aztec conquered them they were possessed of such reverence that only a hundred warriors needed to be slain.
(The Toltec begin play with a free point in Plead and Graces, which they have mastered in their subjugation. As the chosen people of Quetzalcoatl, they may also inflict up to three wounds on themselves, and heal that many wounds on another.)
